Younger Infant Classroom Schedule
(2 wks - 1 yr)

6:30-8:30 - Greeting, parents give caregivers any special instructions, breakfast and bottles are given as needed.
8:30-3:00 - Infant schedules are determined by their parents. Throughout the day, infants are provided with a variety of activities:
- Things to see
  - mirrors, mobiles, bubbles, books, etc
- Things to hear
  - caregivers voice, stories, rattles, bells, music
- Things to touch
  - play gyms, washable cloth toys, rattles, squeeze toys and teething toys
- Babies are taken outside for stroller rides weather permitting.
3:00-6:00 - Babies prepared for parent's arrival and parents informed of infant's day upon arrival.

** Babies diapers are changed every hour as needed unless napping

6:30-8:30 - Greeting
8:30-9:00 - Morning snack
9:00-11:00 - Schedule based upon parents to include a variety of activities
11:00-12:30 - Warm lunch
12:30-2:30 - Nap
2:30-3:30 - Afternoon snack
3:30-6:00 - Continuing of daily activities and parents informed of infant's day upon arrival

** Babies diapers are changed every hour as needed unless napping

Provide a warm atmosphere that is secure, safe, caring and loving
Build self-esteem in each child and help them grow in each of
the developmental areas
Allow each baby to develop at their own pace
Aid each baby in learning basic skills: sitting up, crawling, walking and communication
Provide opportunities for visual, auditory, cognitive and physical stimulation
Make the infant department a place where parents can feel content and comfortable about leaving their child when going to work
